Besides my long corporate career, my experience includes being a Fractional CMO with a reputed FMCG packaged foods company, a Marketing and Strategy consultant, a mentor and coach and a Professor of Practice.

My corporate experience spans nearly three decades in products and services, both B2B and B2C, and in categories as diverse as FMCG, Automobiles, Consulting, Real Estate – including the luxury segment, Supply Chain Infrastructure, IT Software, Market Research and Advertising, and more.

I have worked in and led both the strategy and marketing functions in organizations such as Bharti AirTel, ICICI, Eicher, Royal Enfield Motors, McCann Erickson Worldgroup, Lowe Lintas, FCB and Nielsen.

I have been fortunate in being a part of several success stories, but the high point of my career came in my stint as the Strategy Head of Bharti AirTel's long distance telecommunications business, where I formulated, deployed and drove the strategy for this well-funded start-up which became EBITDA positive in the first year and had Net Profits in the 7th month. This key strategy, famously called 'the migration strategy', or the 'Cell2Cell' strategy in consumer parlance, led to the explosive growth and adoption of mobile telephony in this country.
